Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of pressure training and feedback on the acquisition and learning of basketball shooting skills. The purpose of the study was applied studies and in terms of research methods according to the entry of human subjects and methods of measuring variables were quasi-experimental as pre-test-acquired-post-test. 24 novice female basketball players from Rasht were selected and divided into two intervention and control groups. The research task was basketball-shooting skills that were taught to the subjects by the basketball coach. Pre-tests were performed in both groups and basketball shooting skills were recorded. In the acquired phase, the control group did not receive any intervention and the experimental group underwent pressure training and comparative feedback. Then post-test was performed again in both groups. The obtained data were analyzed based on appropriate statistical tests in Spss software. The results showed that pressure training and deductive feedback affect the acquisition and learning of basketball shooting skills. These methods can be useful tools for physical education educators and teachers. In general, it can only be expected that a particular training situation will lead to a better learning of sports skills when similar sensory-motor and processing conditions prevail over training and testing.
