Abstract
Postpartum depression is one of the most common psychological disorders. The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the effect of exercise with children 6-18 years old along with music on the happiness, fatigue and depression of mothers after childbirth, during the outbreak of covid-19. 40 mothers in the health and treatment department of Foman city were selected by the available method and randomly divided into experimental and control groups (n=20). Research tools, questionnaires of demographic characteristics, Smets multidimensional measurement of fatigue (1996), postpartum depression of Edinburgh (1987) and happiness of Oxford (1989) and the training program considered for the experimental group including 3 weeks of 12 sessions of exercise training in compliance with the principle Overloading and increasing the volume and intensity of training was accompanied by music. The control group did not receive any intervention. Covariance analysis test was used by spss23 software to measure the effect of exercise on fatigue, postpartum depression and happiness of mothers. The results showed that exercise has an effect on fatigue (P = 0.019), postpartum depression (P = 0.029) and mothers' happiness (P = 0.001). By doing regular sports with the child along with music, fatigue and depression among the mothers studied during the outbreak of covid-19 decreased significantly and happiness increased significantly. Therefore, it is recommended to pay special attention to the subject of exercise with the child along with music as a factor that reduces fatigue and depression after childbirth and enhances the happiness of mothers.
